The 2019–20 Hong Kong protests are ongoing demonstrations in Hong Kong triggered by the introduction of the Fugitive Offenders amendment bill by the Hong Kong government. At least that’s how everything started. On 1 October, while China was celebrating 70 years of Communist Party rule, Hong Kong experienced one of its most "violent and chaotic days" . An 18-years-old was shoot in the chest by a police member and an old man was killed by a thief that pretended to be a protester and wore a face mask. One week later, another police shoot a protestor and the chaos grew bigger and bigger every day. The protestors have one motto : “Five demands, not one less!" The Winter War was a war between the Soviet Union (USSR) and Finland. It began with a Soviet invasion of Finland on 30 November 1939, three months after the outbreak of World War II, and ended three and a half months later with the Moscow Peace Treaty on 13 March 1940. The League of Nations deemed the attack illegal and expelled the Soviet Union from the organisation.
Finland repelled Soviet attacks for more than two months and inflicted substantial losses on the invaders while temperatures ranged as low as −43°C (−45°F). After the Soviet military reorganised and adopted different tactics, they renewed their offensive in February and overcame Finnish defences.
